There is no Magic Pill

Writer: Cathleen HyltonCathleen Hylton

There is no magic pill that can solve all your problems. To be clear I’m not speaking about prescribed medication for ailments, I’m referring to all the others that come out on various posts promising so much, getting us to spend money and not getting the results they claim. All the pills and products that say “Take this and you will lose weight, look 10 years younger and feel great about yourself. ” At the same time, we are entrenched with so many thoughts and expectations about how we should look and never age or look older. This cycle gets us to look everywhere except inside for our answers.

It's important to take a holistic approach to your health and well-being. This includes taking care of your physical health through exercise and a healthy diet, as well as your mental health through therapy or other forms of self-care. Sometimes, lifestyle changes like these can be just as effective in helping us along a health path After almost 60 years of life, I’ve concluded, that the best goal is a healthy body and and healthy self-image regardless of what you look like. Humans come in all shapes and sizes and there is beauty in each. We just have to believe that for ourselves, that’s the tough part but it is possible:-)

Additionally, it's important to remember that everyone's journey is different. What works for one person may not work for another. Remember, there is no shame in seeking help and taking steps towards a healthier, happier life.

A reading can help you start the internal healing process and unwind from the thoughts that bind you.
